Matthew 19:14
God started off with giving me the ability to play football. He healed me from asthma which was something I struggled with all of my childhood. Doctors said that I would never be able to play football. They said that my I would have issues with my kidneys. I have been airlifted to UAB in critical condition. The last time that happened, a righteous indignation rosed in me and I declared that would be my last time have an asthma attack in Jesus’s name. My grandparents would bring me to church twice a week and grandma would pray in the morning and night over me anointing me with oil. I am totally healed of asthma and haven’t had another attack since the time I declared that I wouldn’t. I am now a freshman at a prestige university with a full scholarship to play football.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to share my testimony with this great congregation. It was such a refreshing experience that I will forever be grateful for. Thank you Kingdom Empowerment for your kingdom hospitality.
The fall of 2015 I started showing signs of my health going down. I ignored those signs until March 2016. I did a self examine because I had a sharp pain the month prior and I found a knot. After a needle biopsy it was determined I had breast cancer. I never asked why? I didn’t even cry at first. I was numb and left my body. My Dad passed away in 1999 at the age of 48 from cancer. When that happened my whole life changed. I became depressed, angry, bitter, any negative emotion you can name. I didn’t understand how I had prayed, stood in the Word, believed and my Dad still passed. Fast forward to 2016, here I am mid 40’s and being diagnosed with cancer. Chemo was the Hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I wouldn’t wish chemo on my worst enemy if I had one. At one point I said I was going to stop chemo. I had a reality check from my then 14 year old and I decided to fight. When o began chemo they gave me what they called “the red devil.” I quickly corrected them and said,”no, you are pumping the blood of Jesus through my veins.” I Am healed in Jesus Name.
2016 I went through chemo from June to October. October I had surgery. December to February 2017 I went through radiation. My cancer healed me. As I went through treatment I began to relate to what my Dad went through and I started to begin to understand how he must’ve felt. God did keep His promise. God did heal my Dad. He took his pain away and brought him home to heaven. I don’t know what my Dad prayed. He could’ve told God he was tired and ready to come home. I don’t know. I do know he is no longer in pain. And neither am I. I do know he received his healing. And so did I. No more anger. No more bitterness. No more depression. No more negativity. As I continue to work in myself, strengthening my relationship with God, God continues to heal me and show me favor. Cancer humbled me. Cancer broke me and God molded me back together. God continues to show me favor and work on me. Since 2017 I have become a licensed Minister. Licensed cancer minister. I am Ms. Survivor for Dale County- oh did I mention how I was healed of low self esteem and feeling ugly and unworthy. And this was not a beauty pageant, but it showed me and taught me how beautiful I am. I was blessed with a bike I have been believing for for a few years.
Delayed does not mean denied. Diagnosis does not mean death. God is so Amazing and if we Let go and Let God we will begin to see the Amazing things He has in store for us.
Oh, and I would also like to add how 5 years later, August if this year a doctor held my hand and said I was not going to make it through the night and if I did I would be in the hospital for no less than 30 days. Well, God said let me show you all Who I AM. I was in the hospital 7 days with Covid pneumonia. I was told I would be sent home on oxygen and I was not. I was sent home with two inhalers. Once again God kept me. God healed me. God showed His Glory!!!!!

QUOTES: When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors. It is not uncommon for their lives to be unravel. My great passion is bringing holistic healing to people who have had to go through traumatic/stressful experience. This mission includes children, adults, and families, to find healthy, holistic perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole, and safe. I’ve been wounded, suffered a lot of hurt and pain, bruises, and broken heartedness in my life. I was a victim of sexual, mental, and emotional abuse. I felt rejected and abandoned, And I can promise you, just because you don’t deal with something, that doesn’t make it go away. I am so in love with Jesus! He delivered me!!! I have discovered that there is hope for the hopeless with Jesus
